NAGKAISA, NAGKAISA – WSFM Bonificacio Day Worker and Migrant Demonstrations


BonificacioThe closing day of the World Social Forum on Migration (WSFM) coincided with the national Holiday dedicated to Andres Bonifacio – a warehouse worker from Fressel and Company, born 30 November 1863 who led a nationalist and worker led revolution against the Spanish colonizers and is considered the father of the Philippine revolution. Thus, many WSFM delegates joined Forces with the Nagkaisa (meaning united) labour coalitionn.
