PGA 2017 logo BerlinThings have changed… Not only will the Peoples’ Global Action on Migration, Development and Human Rights (PGA) for the first time take place after the GFMD – unlike previous meetings, there will also be no (guaranteed) opportunity for on-site registration. Today thus marks the final deadline for online registration for the event that will be held under the theme of “Power, People, Community: Building A Migrants Rights Movement” from 3-4 July at the conference facilities of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Berlin. You can register here:http://alianzaamericas.nonprofitsoapbox.com/2017pgaconferenceberlin

The main themes of the meeting will be:

  • The Global Compact on Migration
  • Sustainable Development and Migrant Organizing
  • Anti-Racism/Xenophobia

It will provide an opportunity to reflect on the Berlin GFMD, the state of the Global Compact negotiations and the role the PGA has played the past 11 years. There will also be reports from the regional level

If i’m not in my country presently would i be able to attend the conference?

    • Dear Agibu Sall, not quite clear about your question;obviously you would have to be in Berlin to attend. Registration is closed but you might still try to contact the organizers.
      Best greetings,
